Las Vegas

Viva Las Vegas
The "entertainment capital of the world," "Sin City," "America’s playground," and "Disney World for adults," – these are just a few of the nicknames that describe Las Vegas, Nevada. But once you’ve been, you’ll agree that no single nickname, slogan or tagline could ever really capture the electric and larger-than-life atmosphere that truly makes Vegas an oasis in the middle of the desert.

Each year, nearly 40 million visitors flock here for a chance to stay in some of the most stunning, unique hotels in the world, dine at some of the most lavish five-star restaurants, and if their feeling really lucky, get hitched by an Elvis impersonator at a drive-thru chapel! Ok, so we made that last part up – or did we?! It’s safe to say that just about anything and everything goes here in Vegas, but don’t let all the fun and games fool you – Las Vegas is fast becoming prime real estate to live, work, and of course, play.

Las Vegas Transportation

Getting around Las Vegas can be its own adventure – some of the taxicabs here are equipped with video blackjack and poker just in case you’re feeling lucky while in transit. But when it comes to your normal, run-of-the-mill modes of transport, the compact lay of the land here in Las Vegas makes for easy navigation. The world famous "Strip" is just that, one long road littered with casinos and resorts that you can get to on foot, by car, and even by Monorail. Beyond the hotspots, public transportation gets you to and fro with ease.

Las Vegas Attractions

Nothing is off limits in Vegas, and while everyone knows that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" – that’s not always the case. Did you realize that you can board your very own zero gravity space flight?! It’s the kind of thrill seeking that’s truly out of this world. And beyond the obvious thrill of trying your luck in the world-renowned casinos, Las Vegas has no shortage of unique attractions for people of all ages. Spectacles of sight, like the Fountains of Bellagio and the Volcano Eruption at the Mirage Hotel go nicely with the romance of a gondola ride at the Venetian or standing under the Eiffel Tower replica at Paris Las Vegas. It’s as if the entire world had been miniaturized and made to fit all right here.

Las Vegas Nightlife

The first thing you’ll notice about the Vegas nightlife is the neon. A kaleidoscope of colors light up the night sky for miles, especially the beam of light that radiates skyward from the top of the pyramid at the Luxor Hotel. It all seems to beckon you towards the Strip, the true epicenter of all things Vegas. Here you’ll find the most luxurious casinos and the trendiest nightclubs. But if it’s a throwback to the old days you’re looking for, when the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin called Las Vegas home, there’s plenty of shows, lounge acts and singing sensations to see. If you want your show a bit more over the top and extravagant, Cirque Du Soleil dazzles.

Just like the dining in Vegas, the shopping here is world-class. And why not when you consider that high-rollers and casual folks alike will be in the mood to spend some of that hard-earned, or should we say "easy-won" cash? With fancy boutiques in nearly all of the casinos, as well as plenty of less expensive but just as interesting, shops to visit, if there’s something you want in Las Vegas, chances are you will find it.
